The Henry County High School Color Guard is an award winning group that is a part of the HCHS Marching Patriots. They perform in competitions throughout Kentucky and Tennessee, as well as, football games, community performances, and parades.
Colorguard is a group of individuals trained to perform using equipment such as rifles, flags, sabres, etc. They incorporate dance elements into work.
ALL students are welcome to audition for the guard. This group is open to students in grades 9-12. Auditions are in the Spring Semester each year!

Meet our Team Leaders...
Ms. Khadijah Combs, Colorguard Director
Hello HC!! My name is Khadijah Combs and I am the color guard director. I am so excited to be back teaching a great group of kiddos. Here is a little about me. I was born and raised right here in Henry County. I graduated in 2012 and started teaching in 2013. I am currently enjoying working with preschoolers at Henry Elementary. In my free time I enjoy getting out and about with my wonderful daughter Emilee and boyfriend Alec. Color guard has been a huge part of my life for the last 14 years. My favorite thing about color guard is the ability to push your self farther than you ever imagined. It gives you confidence to go out and be a part of something incredible. I can’t wait to see the wonderful things this band program will do in the years to come. As always, Go Big Red!
