HC Marching Patriots ColorGuard

The Henry County Marching Patriots Colorguard is a group of hard-working & talented performers that bring the marching band field show to life through spinning and dance. Membership requires an annual audition. An Audition Clinic is held each spring to determine membership for the next school year. The guard begins practicing and conditioning each spring and continues throughout the summer to prepare for the Marching Season. The colorguard is a part of the HCHS Marching Band, performing at all home game half-time shows in Patriot Stadium. GO PATRIOTS!

Registration for the 2019 Audition Clinic is now CLOSED!

Clinic Details:

Any interested Henry County student is eligible to audition for the 2019 Marching Patriot Colorguard.

Audition Clinics are May 6th - May 10th, 4-6 pm,  at Henry County High School.  There is a $10 clinic fee for attending.

Go to the band room for assistance or be to the Main Gym by 4pm.

Attendance is required each day to audition on Friday.

Equipment provided.

FAQS:

Q: What do I need to bring to the Audition Clinic?
A: Bring a water bottle larger than 16 oz. Wear school appropriate gym clothes, tennis shoes and have long hair in a ponytail or bun (out of your way for practice).

Q: Do I have to be in band to be in cg? 
A: No. Auditions are open to all HCHS students each Spring. 

Q: Is dance experience required?
A: No! Prior experience is not a requirement, simply a willingness to learn. Our staff teaches newcomers all the basics needed to be successful. 

Q: How much does all this cost? 
A: As with any sport or extra-curricular activity, fees for equipment and uniforms are required to participate. All fees will be explained and outlined up front so do not allow funds to keep you from auditioning.
